We have a range of lesson times available Monday thru Saturday at the following hours. 

2:30 pm. - 8:00 pm Monday - Thursday

1:00pm-7:00pm Friday

Fully Stocked lesson studios
Our rooms are stocked with everything you need for lessons including cables, guitar & bass amps, Roland V-drum kits,  weighted action electric pianos and more. All you need to bring is your instrument. And since we offer full stringed instrument repair services in-house, we can help you with that broken string before your lesson!

Comfortable waiting area for parents
We provide comfortable atmosphere for parents and siblings to wait during lesson times. Our store is family friendly and sitting in on your child's lesson is never a problem.

Scheduling assistance 6 days a week
Our helpful staff can assist you with any lesson scheduling questions during our hours of operation. You don't have to wait for a call back from your instructor. We'll do our best to accomodate your scheduling needs.

Month to Month lessons
Our lesson program does not require semester minimums or yearly membership fees. Every student here is on a month to month basis.

Jam Session room now open! Ask your teacher about our jam room stocked with PA, drums, guitar, bass and amps. Sometimes you just need to crank it up to work out an idea or song, and here's where you can do it! It's free and available during your regular lesson time.


Meet the Teachers...

Bill Avayou - Drums 
With a strong foundation in Jazz, Bill is capable of teaching any style from Country Swing to double-bass Metal grooves. He has studied music at BCCC and Temple University, as well as with top players like Joe Morello, Andrew Cyrille, Adan Issadore.  With over 15 years of teaching experience, 10 year here at Coyle's Richboro Music, Bill is our senior percussion instructor. Whether you're just getting started on snare drum or area  a seasoned jazz player, Bill can help you take your playing to the next level.

Alex Khelemsky - Electric Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Electric Bass
After graduating from Penn State University, Alex studied Jazz guitar at Bucks County Community College under John Sheridan & Tom Giacabetti. Equally at home with Blues, Folk, Jazz and Rock, his own playing incorporates aspects of those styles with flatpicking and fingerpicking techniques. With over 15 years of playing experience, Alex is a great instructor with students of all ages and playing styles.

Dan Manchester - Electric & Upright Bass, Electric & Acoustic Guitar, Ukelele
One of our most rounded instructors, Dan can play and teach just about anything with strings. From Upright Jazz to Beatles arrangements on Soprano Uke, Dan has developed a student base of players with a very wide range of styles.  Dan has studied Music at BCCC and is an active perfromer.

Tim Shay - Piano, Flute, Saxaphone, Clarinet, Trumpet
Professional musician, teacher, communicator, lecturer and entrepreneur, Tim Shay teaches saxophone, clarinet, flute, trumpet, didgeridoo, and piano. He studied Music Education at Bucks County Community College and Temple University. He teaches all levels and styles of music. Playing since age 8, Tim has made his living as a professional musician from the age of 18. He has performed in private and public performances all over the tri-state area. He can be heard on the following CDs: 2008 Better Way (Jazz) and 2008 Que Pasa? (Flamenco). Tim teaches not just the fundamentals of the musical instrument but, also the skill sets needed to succeed in music whether it be in school, at home or in public performances.

Melissa Gentles - Piano & Voice
Melissa has been singing for over 15 years and playing piano for about 10 years.  Throughout that time, she received group and private instruction in a variety of genres.  Melissa studied at Westminster Choir College where she earned a music degree with concentration in voice. A very talented perfromer and instructor, Melissa has students with a wide range of styles from Pop to Classical.

Rose Baldino - Violin & Irish Fiddle
Rose began studying classical violin at age eight, and spent two years participating in the Young Musician's Community Orchestra. Since the age of thirteen, she has studied Celtic fiddle music, mainly with teacher/fiddler extraodinaire Deirdre Lochman of the Lochman Family Musicians and Dancers. Concurrently, she began attending traditional Irish music sessions and has studied with internationally known artists at Celtic summer music camps in Asheville, NC and Milwaukee, WI. She has been performing with her Irish band, Burning Bridget Cleary, for the last five years, and they have released three full-length albums. Rose has performed at many high-profile venues on the east coast, and has recently completed an extensive tour of Ireland.

Joe Divita - Guitar, Bass, Drums, Piano, Steel Drum
A multi-instrumentalist and graduate The University of the Arts, Joe has 15 years of private teaching experience.  He has performed nationally in a wide variety of musical settings from jazz combos and big bands, classic and progressive rock to metal, Latin Jazz and Caribbean music and the list goes on.  His instruments of expertise include Drums and percussion (including cello steel drums and mallets) Electric Bass, guitar, voice and piano. Other areas include computer music production and composition. He takes a unique approach to every student that focuses on the individual's personal goals and learning styles. He is currently performing with WXPN artist Andrew Lipke and the Prospects, also as a soloist and as a session musician for various acts both in the studio and live.

Sarah Gruskin - Flute, Clarinet, Piano, Voice, Oboe, Trumpet
Sarah is a talented multi-instrumentalist and teacher with almost 20 years of playing experience.  Sarah's primary instrument is the flute, but also teaches Piano, Trumpet, Clarinet, Oboe and Voice. She has played with the Bucks County Community College Orchestra, The Moorestown Community Band, the Seabook Opera Company, the Rutgers Orchestra, the Bryn Athyn Orchestra and many others. The has studied at BCCC and is a graduate of Rutgers University with a degree in Music.

Tim Conley - Electric & Acoustic Guitar, Electric Bass
Tim is a teacher, musician, producer and composer with well over 10 years teaching experience in Guitar and Bass. Tim has developed a system for teaching almost every genre from Advanced Jazz and Blues to Rock, Country, Punk, Latin and Jam music. His philosophy consists of teaching the style or direction each student is most interested in with a balance of proper technique, music theory and note reading. Doing so in a fun and relaxed learning environment. Tim studied Jazz Performance and Composition at Bucks County Community College and privately with John Sheridan and Ben Shachter. He has performed all over the world including UK, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Switzerland, Canada and almost every city in the US. Tim has also performed or recorded with artists such as Mike Watt(Minute Men, The Stooges) Bernie Worrell(Talking Heads, P Funk) King Britt(Digable Planets) Calvin Weston(Ornette Coleman, MMW) Mark Guiliana(Wayne Krantz, Avishai Cohen)

After graduating from Widener University, he began his work as a professional performing and recording artist. Brian is proficient in many styles of music including Pop, Rock, Jazz, R&B, and Orchestral.

Colt Morris - Electric & Upright Bass, Electric & Acoustic Guitar
Colt is a graduate of Temple University where he studied Jazz Perfromance and Music Therapy.  He has over 10 years playing and perfroming experience and has studied with Mike Mcgarry and Madison Rast among others. An active actor and theater perfromer, he is active with a number of local production companies. Colt is a well rounded musician and teacher who stresses fundamentals and technique to help take your playing to the next level.
